We are Didier and Christine, a Flemish couple who found their balance and inspiration on Île de Noirmoutier.
Over the years, the island has come to hold a special place in our lives. Didier has been coming here for nearly thirty years, and Christine fell in love with the charm of this place several years ago.
What drew us in is the light, the nature and the peaceful atmosphere of L’Épine.
Creating the ONNO suites felt like a natural step — a simple, warm place where we could welcome travellers who want to discover the island in peace and authenticity.
An island we love to share
Noirmoutier is an island we love to explore and rediscover with every season.
The unspoilt beaches, the salt marshes, the cycle paths and the small harbours give the island a unique character.
We are always happy to share our favourite spots with our guests — a quiet beach, a local market or a beautiful bike ride.
Our passion for the sea
We have always been passionate about sailing, and we love sharing our connection with the sea with our guests.
Around Île de Noirmoutier, the light, the tides and the landscapes offer a different spectacle every day. Sailing here is a unique experience — between preserved nature and wide-open horizons.
We enjoy taking our guests out to discover the island from the water, to soak up the calm of the ocean and, why not, to taste Noirmoutier’s famous oysters with a glass of wine or bubbles.
Soon, we will also be offering a selection of boat trips for those who wish to share these special moments on the water.
What ONNO is about
ONNO is deliberately small — two suites, a garden and a shared wellness area with a heated pool and sauna.
No reception desk, no crowds, no schedule. Just a lovely place to unwind and experience the island in your own way.
